Nadia Adame
Nadia is an actress, and award winning dancer & choreographer. She has performed in pieces by Stephen Petronio, Bill T. Jones, Arthur Pita, Rafael Bonachela, Sonya Delwaide, Chevi Muraday and at the Kennedy Centre (USA) with Mikhail Baryshnikov. Her acting career includes theatre and independent film projects in both the USA and Europe. Nadia is the co-founder and co-director of Compañía y.
Alberto Almazán
Alberto started doing street dance until he discovered contemporary dance and decided to dedicate his life to it. He graduated from the Conservatory of Dance in Madrid and has worked with Transdanza and SinffinDanza. "The emotions, sensations, movement, music… they all make me present everyday, making my life richer and different every day. That is what I want for the world."
Guiomar Acosta
Guiomar graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid and did her postgraduate studies at the Laban Institute in London. She has worked as a creative, modern and contemporary dance teacher in various projects and institutions. Guiomar has performed and collaborated with various companies in the UK, Italy and Spain.

Alba Fernández Alba
Alba studied at the Dance Conservatory in Madrid, Spain and was awarded a scholarship to pursue her BA the Laban Institute in London. She collaborates with companies such as Lisarco, Danza Corps, Larumbe, Sol Picó, I..sensi, Company Olga Roriz and the Company Centro Coreográfico Gallego with Cisco Aznar as artistic Director. Alba is a performer and a teacher with Compañía y.
House of Chooch
A production company formed from the desire to provide engaging entertainment for those outside the 'targeted audience' boxes of today's industry. We make films, animation, picture books and adverts. Story and character are what we are about and as such we also provide a full character design, storyboard and illustration.
Nahuel Losada de Andres
Born in Spain, he studied Theater and film in London and New York. In 2007 he wrote and directed the controversial short film "High Risk", produced by his friends at Compañía y. The film has been screened on both sides of the Atlantic at prestigious festivals including Brazil's Mix Festival. He's co-directed two short AV pieces and a play and is prepping for his debut feature film.
Mocha Lab
When the couple sits together during meals, or quietly at night, they do not know that the ghost of a 13 year old girl also sits with them, their child in a past life who waits for them each century to be reincarnated and find each other again. Even now she is sitting with them quietly, listening to Mocha Lab.
Paloma Parra
Paloma has worked as a technical director in theatres such as the Auditorium Pilar Bardem and Teatro Pradillo. She has also worked as a light designer and a technical director for various companies including Metatarso, Erre que Erre, Guillermo Weickert, Provisional Danza, Megaló Teatro Móvil and La Tartana. Paloma has been the technical director and lighting designer for Compañía y since 2006.
Cherry Truluck
Cherry designs sets, multimedia (video projection) and costume for theatre. As a live artist and researcher, Cherry has a particular interest in online and multimedia performance environments. A founder member of international performance art group ActiveLayers, she has been involved in groundbreaking live online performance work. Cherry originally trained as an architect.
Mark Swetz
Staged a ten character, silent version of Star Wars for public performance in 1977 and has kept directing ever since. He most enjoys collaboratively created performance, developing new work and artists and doing things he hasn't done before. Mark is the co-founder and co-director of Compañía y.
